What is Miro?

Miro is an online visual workspace, a shared canvas where teams brainstorm, map processes, plan roadmaps and build prototypes. Its AI layer, called Miro AI, can generate diagrams, tables and summaries, cluster sticky notes and run AI workflows directly on the board. Miro also offers an MCP server, so AI tools such as Claude, Cursor or Copilot can exchange context with board content, for example generating code from a board or rendering Mermaid diagrams on the canvas.

In practice you can pull research outputs from tools like Claude or NotebookLM onto a board, review them as a team, and then turn the insights into roadmaps, specs or new AI prompts. The platform includes Docs, Tables, Timelines, Kanban and Slides formats, over 7000 templates, and more than 250 integrations with Microsoft, Slack, Google and Adobe.
