What is Auphonic?

Auphonic is a web service for automatic audio post-production. You upload an audio or video file and its algorithms reduce noise and reverb, balance levels between speakers and music, remove filtering problems such as plosives and clipping, and apply loudness targets that meet broadcast or platform specifications.

Beyond cleanup, it can cut filler words such as "uhm" and "ah", coughs and long silences, process multitrack recordings into a single mixdown with ducking and mic bleed removal, and generate multilingual speech-to-text transcripts with automatic shownotes and chapters. It can also produce audiograms and burned-in subtitles for video, and publish results to platforms such as YouTube, Libsyn, Podbean and SoundCloud. Watch folders, a Zapier integration, an API and a CLI let you automate the workflow.
