What is Greptile?
Greptile is an AI code review tool that reviews pull requests with context from your entire codebase rather than only the diff. It first builds a graph index of your repository (files, functions, and dependencies), then runs parallel agents that assess how each change affects the rest of the code and flag issues such as style violations, security risks, and multi-file logical bugs.
Teams can write coding standards in plain English as custom rules, and Greptile learns further conventions by reading engineers' past PR comments. Findings can be sent to coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or Devin from the IDE, connected through an MCP server, or iterated on automatically with a /greploop command. A TREX beta runs PR branches in a sandbox to catch runtime-only bugs. Self-hosted and SOC 2 options are offered for enterprises.
