What is Eightify?
Eightify is an AI video summarizer that works with YouTube. It generates concise summaries of a video, extracts its key ideas, and presents them as timestamped sections so you can jump to specific topics. It also provides video transcriptions, a overview of top comments that shows whether viewers found the video useful, and summaries or translations in 40+ languages.
You use it by installing the Eightify extension or the iOS and Android apps, then opening a YouTube video and clicking the summarize button. The summary appears instantly, and you can turn it into a shareable article in one click. The homepage describes use cases such as deciding whether a long video is worth watching, preparing study notes, researching content, and preparing lessons.
