What is Whimsical?
Whimsical is an online whiteboard and diagramming tool for product teams. Its infinite canvas covers flowcharts, mind maps, wireframes, diagrams and general boards, and several of them can be built with a text prompt. The AI features generate a structured flowchart, a branched mind map or editable web and mobile wireframes from a single description, which you then refine by hand.
In practice you can document an implementation, map out a user flow, brainstorm ideas, or sketch UI screens with drag-and-drop components. Multiple people edit at the same time, leave comments, embed images or videos, use ready-made templates, and restore earlier versions of a board.
