What is Context.dev?

Context.dev is a web data API built for AI agents and LLM applications. You send it a URL and it returns the page as clean Markdown, HTML, a screenshot, images, or structured fields. Every request is loaded in a real browser, and when a site blocks the request, the API moves to a stronger proxy and retries with a different strategy on its own, so you do not have to configure proxies or rendering.

Beyond single-page scraping, you can map a domain to discover its URLs, crawl an entire website or run batches of thousands of URLs in the background, search the live web, ask research questions and get structured answers with source URLs, and create monitors that watch pages for changes and send updates to a webhook. It also returns company profiles and design system data for a domain. The API is available through SDKs, a CLI, and MCP.
