What is Civitai?
Civitai is a community hub for generative AI art. It hosts thousands of models, mostly Stable Diffusion and Flux checkpoints and LoRAs, that users can browse, download and share. The site also shows large galleries of AI-generated images and videos, with prompts and settings published by their creators, so visitors can find ideas and reference styles.
Users can create and publish their own images, videos and 3D models, and take part in community contests called Crucibles, where entries compete head to head and the winner earns Buzz, the platform's internal currency. Buzz can be used for generation and other services, and a Creator Program lets model makers earn from licensing or paid access to their work. Memberships add monthly Buzz and perks such as more private models and priority generation.
