What is Unsloth?
Unsloth is an open-source, free desktop application for Mac, Windows and Linux that lets you download, run and train open AI models entirely on your own computer. A built-in model hub helps you pick the right quantization for your device, and new releases are supported on launch day.
In practice you can chat with local text models, generate images and video with models such as FLUX, Wan and LTX, and run no-code training workflows. Unsloth can also connect coding agents like Claude Code and Codex to your local models through a command-line start option, and it exposes an OpenAI-compatible API so existing apps can use the same models. Built-in web search, a sandbox for running Bash and Python, and HTTPS access via a Cloudflare tunnel round out the workspace.
