What is Rember?

Rember is an AI-assisted flashcard app built around spaced repetition and active recall. You feed it material in several ways: typing a concept, naming a book section, pasting text, or dropping in a URL or YouTube video. Its AI canvas then generates cards from your instructions, which you can steer in natural language to control phrasing, structure and formatting.

The generated cards follow spaced-repetition best practices, such as atomic, unambiguous questions that test understanding rather than yes/no recall. Reviews are scheduled with the FSRS algorithm, and you can pause, snooze or undo reviews. You can study cards in Rember itself or in Anki, and an Anki add-on and an MCP server let you send cards from Claude or ChatGPT conversations.
