What is Paperspace?
Paperspace is a cloud GPU platform for machine learning and AI work, now part of DigitalOcean. It provides on-demand access to NVIDIA GPUs, including H100, billed per second or per hour, so you pay only for the compute you use. The workflow is split into three steps: develop a proof of concept in a hosted Jupyter notebook, train or fine-tune models on GPU machines, and deploy trained models as scalable API endpoints.
The platform also offers pre-configured templates, job scheduling and resource provisioning without server management, automatic versioning and tagging, and team features such as collaboration and usage insights. Cloud desktops and high-performance workstations are offered for rendering, 3D graphics, simulation and gaming, and there is a full API for programmatic access.
