What is Manifest?
Manifest is an open source LLM gateway that sits between your AI agents or workflows and model providers. You point your application at one OpenAI-compatible endpoint, and Manifest routes each request to the provider or model you configure. It supports bring-your-own API keys, subscription plans such as Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini via OAuth tokens, custom providers, and local models through Ollama, LM Studio or llama.cpp.
Beyond routing, Manifest falls back to another provider when one is down, and its Autofix feature repairs broken requests before the error reaches your agent. You can inspect full request and response bodies, see spending broken down by agent, key and provider, set model parameters per route without changing code, and receive budget alerts. It is available as a cloud service or self-hosted via Docker under the MIT licence.
