What is Lex?
Lex is a web-based word processor for writing and editing documents, positioned as a more polished alternative to Google Docs. Users can share a link so others can collaborate in real time, see each other's typing, leave comments, or publish a read-only link to a finished text.
The AI layer works inside the editor. You can ask for feedback on a draft, brainstorm ideas, rewrite passages, keep alternative versions of a sentence, use keyboard-driven AI commands to find better words or generate lists, and get title suggestions with one click. Track changes is listed as coming soon. The site says it is no longer accepting new customers, so only existing accounts can use it.
