What is Interviews Chat?
Interviews Chat is an AI interview assistant for job seekers. During a live interview, the Chrome extension and interface show real-time suggested answers and a live transcript of the conversation, so the user can keep track of questions and respond with more structure. It works for video calls, phone screens, and online assessments, where it can connect to a browser tab with a whiteboard or coding task and generate a solution with reasoning.
For preparation, the tool analyzes a resume and job description to generate likely questions, runs mock interviews with follow-up questions for technical, behavioral, or case study formats, and transcribes and reviews the user's spoken answers with feedback and a model answer. Users can choose between several AI models, including OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Alibaba Qwen, and xAI Grok, and receive responses as detailed answers, bullet points, brief answers, STAR-method answers, or suggested questions to ask the interviewer.
